World Summit on Women and Girls

Eight Years 5 and 6 girls attended a prestigious event called the World Summit on Women and Girls, commemorating the United Nations International Day of the Girl. The event took place at the Houses of Parliament and Tanisha and Eden Rose delivered speeches on the topics of Gender Equality in Pay and Equal Opportunities in Education. The children attended the second day of the Summit for Women and Girls on Thursday at the House of Lords. They were treated to an incredible lunch with views of the river and the London Eye. Then Paula was honoured with a very special award - The Justina Mutale Foundation Iconic Female Leadership Award. The school is so proud of their amazing head teacher and all that she does to help and support all of the pupils! Congratulations Paula!
