32.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (8.30am to 3.30pm Monday to Friday)
Salary: Scale 4, pt 7 pro rata: actual salary £21,631
Starting date: September 2024
Freezywater St George’s is a friendly, warm and welcoming one form entry school. We are looking for an experienced HLTA who has experience of phonics and SEND provision. They will also be expected to cover a KS1 class one day a week. As a member of Freezywater St George’s school staff, you will be part of a team that works together to support children and their learning. You will be expected to support and encourage the ethos of a Church of England school, its vision, values and motto ‘Believe and Achieve’.
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
The ability to cover a whole class
A passion and commitment to outstanding Phonics and SEND in KS1.
Ability to support children during meal and snack times.
Ability to support children’s care routines.
Experience of maintaining high standards of care for children at all times.
A commitment to fostering an inclusive environment in which every child is encouraged to flourish through support interventions.
The successful candidate will be able to work collaboratively with other members of staff and children and they will have worked in a school environment. Our school is an inclusive, creative school, committed to child initiated learning through a topic-based approach to the curriculum. We have recently been awarded the title of Enfield Inclusion Charter Champion School.
